ENGINEERED
WHERE GEAR
ACTUALLY FAILS
EXO-FLEX™ hub geometry and Hengduan field validation — shelter built for the conditions that test it, not the conditions that photograph well.
Biomimicry-derived insulation architecture across R3.9 to R8.8 — field-validated specs from three-season routes to year-round alpine exposure.
Aluminum alloy frame construction engineered for backcountry load-bearing — packed volume and carry weight that justify the place in your pack.
A complete system tested across Hengduan ridgelines — where multi-day conditions verify what controlled testing cannot.

The Phase 1 lineup features the KONGAR series — our three-season and four-season shelter range built around EXO-FLEX™ pole architecture. Models span solo, two-person, and expedition configurations, covering everything from alpine-approach routes to extended basecamp use. Each model's specification, weight, and recommended use case is detailed on its product page. If you're unsure which build suits your route, contact SUPPORT@MOBIGARDEN.COM — we'll give you a direct answer.
EXO-FLEX™ is Mobi Garden's proprietary pole hub system. The geometry is pre-bent at the junction points, which distributes load across the hub rather than concentrating stress at a single node — the failure point in conventional hub designs. In field terms: the structure handles asymmetric wind pressure more predictably, and the pitch geometry holds its shape under sustained lateral force rather than flexing inward. It's an engineering decision, not a marketing label.
The GENNYE line was developed around a biomimicry principle drawn from the Schizothorax fish — a species that retains core temperature in near-freezing Hengduan river systems through layered thermal architecture rather than bulk insulation. That translates to a multi-layer internal structure that achieves high R-values at lower packed weight than single-chamber or basic foam-core competitors. The GENNYE XT delivers R6.5. The GENNYE PRO delivers R3.9. Both specs are field-validated, not lab-optimized.You're not paying for a legacy brand name. You're paying for the insulation architecture.
Two different design philosophies. Both built on the same biomimicry-derived insulation architecture — the answer depends on what you're optimizing for.GENNYE XT: The warmth-to-weight benchmark in the lineup. R6.5 delivered at 400g — the most thermally efficient pad we make at the lightest possible carry weight. One shape, one purpose: built for expedition-grade cold where insulation performance is non-negotiable and every gram of that 400g is already justified. If you're pushing into serious winter or high-altitude conditions and won't accept thermal compromise, this is the pad.GENNYE PRO: The lineup's most versatile pad — and the one most backpackers end up in. Available across three R-value tiers (R3.9 / R6 / R8.8), three configurations (mummy, rectangular, and double), and sized for everything from fast-and-light summer routes to fully loaded multi-week hauls. If you're building a sleep system around varied conditions, trip types, or want a pad that works across a full season range, the PRO is where to start.Short version: XT if you need the absolute thermal edge. PRO if you want the right spec for your actual conditions.
Most inflatable pad noise comes from the internal TPU baffling material vibrating against itself under movement. We address this at the material level with AcoustiLayer™ — a treated internal surface that dampens baffle contact noise without adding weight or compromising the thermal structure. It's not a feature most brands document. It's the kind of thing you notice on night one and stop noticing because it stops being a problem.
The Mountain Wing Pro and Mountain Wing Basic are built around an aluminum alloy frame engineered for the weight-to-load ratio that matters on multi-day routes — not just static showroom feel. The hub folds flat, the packed volume is compact, and the seat geometry is designed to hold under lateral movement, not just vertical load.If you've written off camp chairs as a luxury item because of weight, the Mountain Wing Pro is worth re-evaluating against your actual pack spec.
Replacement components — pole sections, repair sleeves, valve caps, and guylines — are available for current lineup products. Contact SUPPORT@MOBIGARDEN.COM with your product name and the part needed. We'll confirm availability and ship directly.
60 days from delivery. If the gear didn't perform as specified, or wasn't the right fit for your conditions — return it unused in original packaging for a full refund. To start a return, email SUPPORT@MOBIGARDEN.COM with your order number. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the item.
Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer's responsibility. If your item arrived damaged or has a verified manufacturing defect, we cover the return in full — no cost to you.No restocking fees on any return.
The Mobi Garden Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship: pole failures under normal load conditions, seam separation, zipper failure, coating delamination, and valve failure on sleeping pads.It does not cover damage from misuse, improper storage, UV degradation over time, or wear accumulated through extended normal use.Coverage applies to the original purchaser through authorized Mobi Garden channels.
Do I need to ship my gear back to make a warranty claim?
No. Warranty assessments are conducted remotely. Send photos or a short video of the issue to SUPPORT@MOBIGARDEN.COM along with your order details — we assess from there and ship replacement components or a full unit depending on the fault. We designed the process this way deliberately. Shipping gear back and forth costs time and money on both sides. If we can see the problem, we can fix it.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and Shop Pay. Available options will be displayed at checkout.
All transactions on us.mobigarden.com are processed through Shopify's encrypted payment infrastructure. We do not store card details at any point during or after checkout.
Orders are processed within 2–4 business days of confirmation. You'll receive a shipping notification with tracking details once your order has left our facility.
How long does delivery take to the US?
Standard delivery to the contiguous US takes 7–10 business days from the date of shipment. Tracking is provided with every order so you can follow it end to end.
Currently shipping to the United States only. Additional markets are planned — contact SUPPORT@MOBIGARDEN.COM to register interest for your region and we'll notify you when it goes live.
No. All US orders ship DDP — Delivered Duty Paid. Import duties and customs fees are covered by Mobi Garden. The price you pay at checkout is the price you pay, full stop.
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
When water stops beading on the fly surface and starts sheeting through the fabric, the DWR coating needs refreshing — not replacing. Use a spray-on DWR treatment compatible with silicone or PU-coated fabrics, apply evenly to a clean dry surface, and heat-activate with a warm iron over a cloth or a low-heat tumble dryer cycle. This typically restores bead performance for another season.
Spot-clean the pad surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not submerge, machine wash, or dry clean. Keep the valve area dry — moisture in the valve mechanism affects inflation performance over time. For storage, keep the pad unrolled or loosely rolled with the valve open to prevent internal pressure buildup. Compressed long-term storage stresses the baffle seams.
