Hot to Return

Structural failures originating from manufacturing (welded seams, framework joints, load-bearing connections)Material defects present at or near the time of purchase (delamination, valve malfunction, pole section failure)Waterproof coating failure not caused by abrasion, chemical exposure, or improper care

This warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only, with proof of purchase from an authorized Mobi Garden channel.

What's Not Covered

The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

Punctures, cuts, abrasions, or tears caused by field use, sharp objects, or improper storage

UV degradation, fading, or material breakdown due to age and environmental exposure

Damage caused by improper setup, exceeding load ratings, or use outside the product's intended purpose

Mold, mildew, or odor resulting from storage while wet or improperly dried

Normal wear on high-friction contact points (zipper pulls, pole ferrules, fabric floors)

Damage resulting from repairs or modifications not authorized by Mobi Garden

How to Submit a Claim

We do not require you to ship your product back to us. Claims are assessed remotely.

Include the following:

Your order number and date of purchase

A description of the issue

Clear photos or a short video demonstrating the defect (multiple angles)

Our team will respond within2 business days with a determination.

If your claim is approved, we will ship a replacement component or replacement unit to you directly- no return of the original product isreguired.

Claim Outcomes

Warranty resolutions are determined at Mobi Garden's discretion and may include:

Replacement of the defective component (e.g., pole section, valve, buckle)

Replacement of the full product if the defect cannot be addressed with a component

Store credit equal to the original purchase price if the product is discontinued

Repair Services

Mobi Garden does not currently offer paid repair services. If your darnage falls outside warranty coverage, we recommend consulting localoutdoor gear repair specialists. We will update this page when in-house repair services become available.

Mobi Garden is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, This warranty does not cover damage resulting from commercial use, rental, or use by parties other than the original purchaser.

What exactly is EXO-FLEX™, and why does it matter in rain?

EXO-FLEX™ designates the ExoSpeedFlex pitch system. The outer fly erects and stands as an independent structure before the inner tent is involved. You clip the inner in from underneath, inside a standing shelter. In rain, the inner sleep surface has zero exposure at any point in the setup sequence — a meaningful difference from sleeve-and-clip systems where the inner contacts rain while the fly is still being tensioned.

What's the trade-off between KAWA and KONGAR?

KAWA is 6 oz lighter at 2 lb 13 oz (1.27 kg) — the lightest tent in the EXO-FLEX™ series. The Y-pole architecture raises interior headroom at the entry and shoulder zones but lowers the wind ceiling from 40 mph (18 m/s) on the KONGAR to 36 mph (16 m/s). KAWA is three-season rated; KONGAR and KORA carry a four-season rating.

Do I need a footprint with the KAWA?

The 20D Ripstop Nylon floor at 4,000mm HH handles most backcountry surfaces without one. On sharp-rock terrain or extended camps in abrasive conditions, a footprint extends floor life. On soft ground or compacted soil, it is not required.

Are PFAS or flame retardants used in KAWA materials?

No. All KAWA EXO-FLEX™ materials are non-PFAS and flame-retardant free.

Can I pitch the KAWA alone?

Yes. The Y-pole outer shell deploys as a single standing structure before the inner tent attaches — the 60-second ExoSpeedFlex sequence requires no second person.
